As a teen i suffered with acne. Trying many over the counter products, going to different dermatologist, and just feeling insecure. The over the counter medications help somewhat but I wanted something natural not full of chemicals. In 2019 I began writing out my business plan, while sitting at my desk at work. I had recently received a promotion, and i liked what i did. However i did not LOVE what i did. I felt tired, tired of working for someone else, and not having a sense of true belonging! Belonging to jobs that did not possess excellence! I began studying, and researching the highest quality products, how to make soap, and benefits of different herbs, oils, extracts. I was determined to become my very own Bath and Body works, but better! I wanted to make products with quality and value. In 2020 I was laid off and that allowed me so much time to perfect my craft and bring my visions to life. My close friends supported me and purchased soaps for their families as well. One day my friend, said “your candles smell so good! You should make candles!!” I was reluctant, thinking it would be too much work, too hard to learn. Although i was unsure I have always believed I can do anything I put my mind to. A year later I gave birth to Belita Glow and Soaps! I found my biggest passion in making candles. The candles took off and has been a huge success. I used my social network to reach out to some of my most admirable artist,comedians, and social media influencers. I have sent my candles to singer, kelis, legendary comedian Luenell, and my favorite influencer Ajna Surah. The word of mouth has expanded my business to 40 states, and 1 country! Today my products are available in a well known local Pastry shop and thriving online as well. The product line has expanded to carry soaps, candles, body creme, perfume oils, and room Sprays. Each and every product i have is made naturally, vegan, and top tier.
